Unfortunately this is a Genshin-like situation, locking potential character development behind hours long of quests. Especially that exploring the new area with Shorekeeper would be neat, I mean exploring it with a very well levelled and geared Shorekeeper. HSR has trial version of boss/talent materials now. Wuwa is improving, that is a fact, so let's hope they will recognize this oversight sooner or later.
