How to Play Traces of Mt. Firmament

Complete Scale of Memories Side Quest

The event Traces of Mt. Firmament will become available to players after completing the Side Quest Scale of Memories.

Scale of Memories Quest Guide

Collect Photos and Traces Within Mt. Firmament

Clues will be given to you via the Scale of Past tab in the Traces of Mt. Firmament event screen in the form of text and a blurred visual of the location.

Track Locations Through Scale of Past

You may choose to track the trace or photo spot by pressing the arrow button on the rewards tab for the corresponding location. Doing this will automatically mark the area on the map for you.

Once you are within the vicinity, a purple marker will appear which will lead you to the spot where you can take a picture using the Zoom Camera or simply collect a Trace.

How to Use the Camera Feature

Accessible After Event Duration's End

Regardless of the event's duration, Traces of Mt. Firmament will still be accessible for players to complete by selecting the Trace Scale in their inventory and tapping the Proceed button, or by equipping it on the Utility Wheel.

Collected in the Scale of Memories Side Quest

You may collect this photo as part of the objective in the Scale of Memories side quest. Simply stand on the quest marker and use your Zoom Camera to take a picture of "Daylight Upon Two Trees"

View Information

Follow the purple quest marker to the first point of interest and use your Sensor to interact with the second. Afterward, climb atop the Lamp Post by scaling the building next to it and jumping down to its flat top.

How to Use the Sensor

Take a Photo on the Lamp by the Pool

Activate your Zoom Camera and take a picture of the marked building within Hongzhen once the ring on your camera turns green.

Find the Origin of the Sound

Once you are within the vicinity near the cave exit from the Hidden Chamber in Hongzhen, a purple marker will appear that directs you to a child in trouble. Defeat the TDs attacking the child and follow the quest marker to the photo spot.

Take a Photo of the Circular Wonder in the Mountain

Point your Zoom Camera toward the hollow ring on top of the mountain. Once the ring on your camera turns green, you may take the photo and immediately unlock the rewards.

Fast-travel to the Huanglong-Mt. Firmament-Tianqu Tree Resonance Beacon and speak with the Tired Resident indicated by the purple marker. The trace will be collected and completed after your conversation.

Use Sensor at the Target Location

Use your Sensor within the marked area and interact with the clue in the pond.

Take a Photo of the Peak and the True Loong

Stand on the marked spot and take a picture of the dragon head-like stone formation overlooking Mt. Firmament with your Zoom Camera when the ring turns green.

Slide Down the Path From Truthseeker's Passage: Upper Level

You may fast-travel to the Huanglong-Xuanji Ridges-Truthseeker's Passage: Middle Tier Resonance Beacon and take the lift to the Upper Level. Slide down the open path in the wall located in front of a Flare Stone to reach the photo spot.

Take a Photo of the Skyglow and the Suspended Rocks

Take out your Zoom Camera and take a photo of the suspended rocks at the marked location. Doing so will immediately grant you the corresponding rewards.

You can collect this Trace by Fast-travelling to the Huanglong-Loong's Rest-Mianloong Chamber: Upper Tier Resonance Beacon and interacting with the purple marker on the ground.

Take a Photo of the Sunset

You may fast-travel to Huanglong-Mt. Firmament-Xuanji Ridges Resonance Beacon and speak with the Tired Resident by the shore, then take a photo of what they mistake to be a Sunset with your Zoom Camera.

View Information

Fast-travel to the lower Huanglong-Mt. Firmament-Loong's Crest Resonance Beacon and investigate the clue marked on the floor that leads you to the photo spot.

Take a Photo of the Seaside Ruins

Point your Zoom Camera toward the Seaside Ruins and take a photo once the ring turns green.
