The recommended deck for this round of difficulty is the Lioness Active Skill Loop deck, which centers around chaining together several Active Skills in a single turn to burn the opponent's HP, while also massively buffing the Lioness of Glory.
Certain enemies in this difficulty can resist the burn damage of the deck, but the looping can still power up the Lioness and other Echoes on field to make this a non-issue.

Joanna can be a daunting opponent due to her ability to ignore the Ruin of Glory's chip damage, but you can still overpower her trait by rushing out and boosting the Lioness of Glory's stats through repeated Active Skill uses.
Joanna's trait additionally encourages you to go for heavy hits, as it makes her naturally resistant to smaller-DMG attacks. Aim to land double-digit damage on her to punch through her 5-point damage mitigation.

While it may be intimidating to see Ursula having 999 HP, she takes 66 damage whenever you deploy a card.
In this matchup, the Calcified Junrock and Fusion Prism are going to be standout plays since they refund themselves with their Active Skill, essentially allowing you to deal 66 damage to Ursula for free when used.

Bream's power comes from the stacking STR and CON from his Echo deployments. As such, aim to end the match as quickly as possible before he gets to pump his team up too much.
Thankfully, he has no mechanic that protects him from the Ruin of Glory's chip damage, allowing you to slowly whittle away at his HP even before the battle phase starts.

Gilson has an even larger damage mitigation shield of 15 points, nullifying the Ruin of Glory's burn entirely. As a tradeoff, however, he only has 1 HP.
Your objective for this match is to power up the Lioness of Glory and the rest of your board to have at least 16 damage total, with STR and CON enough to defeat Gilson's team for 1 round. This will be enough to take him out!

The deck's gameplan revolves around generating both Energy and Card Draw by spamming the active skills of the Fusion Prism, Calcified Junrock, and Waystone Novelty, with Chisa's Skill as a backup card draw option.
Use other cards in the deck to supplement this, such as transforming Diggy Duggy and Sabyr Boar for more resources, or Mining Reindeer and Hologram Map to get more uses of the Waystone for energy.

With the Lioness deck, the main roadblocks of the 2nd round of difficulty for the Frostlands Duels are Joanna and Gilson. This is due to their traits directly nullifying the Ruin of Glory chip damage, which is part of what makes this deck strong.
However, the deck can still set up a loop of active skills that, with the Lioness of Glory on the field, will continuously buff your entire board and allow them to overpower the enemy duelist.

One of the main ways to translate the deck's looping into a win is via the Lioness' Overburst, which grants deployed Echoes +1 to all of their stats. This allows her to succeed even without the Ruin of Glory chip damage.
Aim to get complete her trial as soon as possible by spamming active skills, and deploy the Lioness immediately after she becomes available. Then, resume with your active skill looping.
The Waystone is one of the main loop enablers of the deck, as it provides 2 Energy whenever you use its active skill.
It is the prime target for effects from cards like Mining Reindeer, Hologram Map, and your Domain's Active Skill, to continuously generate Energy for you to use.
The Kerasaur is the ideal unit to have stacking alongside the Lioness while you loop. It has good base stats, and its own active skill that provides even more buffs when used.
Usually, this 3-Cost card would require Modulation, but the deck skips this entirely by using the Transport XE-01's active ability to instantly deploy the Kerasaur to save resources.

You should also aim to thin the deck by using the Transform cards up. This will do two things at once. For one, cards like Diggy Duggy and Sabyr Boar will provide you with lots of resources for you to keep going.
Secondly, this removes these cards from the deck, making it more likely to draw into cards like Fusion Prism or Calcified Junrock, whose active skills facilitate even more looping.
