How to Unlock Unfrozen Hope
Complete The Song of Ice and Steel
To unlock Unfrozen Hope, players need to complete its prerequisite quest called The Song of Ice and Steel. Unfrozen Hope unlocks immediately after the latter's completion.

1. Read Skavitz's Message and Talk to Him
To start the quest, check Wavesline and read Skavitz's message, then head back to the Upphaf Life Chamber to find him and speak with him.

2. Head Deeper Into the Cave
He will reveal that he has found a way further into the cave. Follow the quest marker until you reach an area with large trees.
3. Go Through the Platformer Area

| 1 | Once you approach the trees, the game will transition into a side-scrolling format. Investigate the light on the ground, then continue ahead. |
| 2 | Jump onto the ledge and use the Grapple to pull yourself up, then use it again to pull the box out of the way. You can then grapple to the next ledge. |
| 3 | Afterwards, attack the tree to chop it down and make a bridge that lets you cross the gap. Continue until you reach a pit of ice spikes in the floor. |
| 4 | Use the Grapple to pull another box down, then complete the Quick Time Event (QTE) input to jump on it. Another QTE will trigger right as the box reaches the cliff; complete it to ride the air current upwards. |
4. Defeat the Iceglint Dancers
At the top of the air current, a trio of Iceglint Dancers are waiting. Defeat them and move on to find the Kronaclaw.

5. Take Down the Kronaclaw
You will have to face the Kronaclaw in combat again. This time, however, it will not run away and can be defeated normally. Once you've done so, talk to Skavtiz to complete the quest.
