Over the Edge - Turbulent Surge is a Flight Challenge available in Sanguis Plateaus that requires you to fly long distances without touching the ground in Wuthering Waves (WuWa). Turbulent Surge Recommended Route for 2,000 Meters
 • Fly north east towards Septimont and ride the Wingray sitting atop a structure east of Atilius Canyon. You will have to fly down to get this Wingray. • Cross the sea and aim for the Wingray on top of a rock formation south of Septimont. With this Wingray, you should be able to reach the 2,000 meters maximum distance. • In case you want to go farther, a third Wingray is found east of Septimont. By this time, you should now have a flight distance of more than 2,000 meters. Note that you can let go of the Wingray anytime using the Jump button and you'll still get the full Flight STA recovery. |
The best route we found that can easily take you to 2,000 meters is towards the east of Septimont. In this route, we can ride two Wingrays on-route to 2,000 meters with an extra 3rd if you want to go farther.

Over the Edge Challenge Location
The Over the Edge Challenge is located at one of Tetragon Temple's highest point. Fly to the roof of one of the temples and talk to a blonde npc named Fengshan to start the challenge!
You can also teleport to Hunter Den's Resonance Beacon for easier access.

Reaching 2,000 meters rewards you six chests and the Birds Without Legs trophy as you've reached the max distance for the Over the Edge challenge!

Fly Over 2,000 Meters
Fly over 2,000 meters in Septimont to get all the rewards for this challenge. There will be six chests waiting and a hidden achievement once you complete the max distance.
Use Wingrays When You Can
The biggest hurdle of this challenge would be finding a way to reset your Flight Stamina without touching the ground. This can be done by flying towards wingrays stationed around Sanguis Plateaus and Septimont! Once a wingray is used, your Flight Stamina will reset and you can speed into the skies until you reach the 2,000m mark.
Fly in Open Areas
The challenge will automatically fail if you hit the ground or the cliffs! Be sure to fly in open areas to avoid crashing in to cliffs, and trees. This way, you can also enjoy the full potential of your flight ability!

You can continue exploring Rinascita to increase your Boost Unit: Flight! You only need to explore Rinascita and Septimont areas to a 25% each as these give you 10 points for your Flight Stamina

Eat Oaknut Honeycake
Oaknut Honeycake is a dish that reduces Flight Stamina consumption for all Resonators for 15 minutes! Eat one of these to fly farther than usual for this challenge. You can get Oaknut Honeycake and its recipe from Solis Tavern in Septimont
Use Carlotta for Slower Flight STA Consumption
Use Carlotta if you have her to have a higher chance of succeeding this challenge! She consumes Flight Stamina slower than any other resonator, making her perfect for this scenario.
