|
Hocus Pocus Hocus Pocus Gradation: Gradation occurs once every 2 days and grants 2 Dreamland Coupons.
|
Since the stage environment gives you an increased rate for Dream of Gradation Echoes, it's best to focus on building your board with this Echo type. Gradation Echoes have a slow payout, though they are able to offer a steady increase in profit every few days, and have decent synergy.
A standout synergized duo from this group of Echoes are the Hocus Pocus and the Nimbus Wraith. The Hocus Pocus is the fastest Gradation Echo and the Nimbus Wraith grants you 2 extra Dream Coupons per Gradation, generating a consistently sizeable payout, especially if your board has many Hocus Pocus units.

Transience is the ideal Blessing for Gradation-focused boards, as it temporarily boosts Echoes’ Coupon yield, significantly improving income.
Its effect lasts up to three days and can be activated every phase, scaling in quantity as you progress through phases. Due to this, it's best to activate the blessing on the Third Day. This is a powerful buff for surpassing Coupon quotas, so be sure to keep it equipped!
| Prop | Explanation | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Accelerating Hourglass Accelerating Hourglass After 1 day, the Gradation progress of all Echoes on the field increases by 2. This effect can only be triggered once.
|
An excellent single-use Prop that can accelerate the speed of your Echoes, especially those that take longer to trigger. |
| 2 |
Pinwheel Pinwheel At the start of each day, the Daily Coupon yield of a random Echo increases by 2.
|
A very good addition for Coupon gain which can also synergize with the Abyssal Mercator. |
| 3 |
Dreaming Round n' Round Dreaming Round n' Round There is a 10% chance to gain additional 1 Echo in Echo Recruitment.
|
Generally a good pick, this will passively help with Echo recruitment especially if you are still still at the earlier phases. |
These are the three Props we highly recommend picking up when they appear in the Dreamland Shop. Accelerating Hourglass is the most impactful for this setup, as it helps your Echoes trigger their Gradation effects faster although its effects are single-use.
Pinwheel is also a strong option; while it functions well on its own, it performs best when you have an Abyssal Mercator present, greatly enhancing your board’s synergy. Lastly, Dreaming Round n' Round is a solid general-purpose pick, granting you a chance to gain an extra Echo each time you recruit.

Hocus Pocus and Nimbus Wraith are the best-performing early units for a Dream of Gradation board. Hocus Pocus offers quick Gradation triggers, while Nimbus Wraith activates whenever a Gradiation trigger is activated, creating a fast and consistent income loop.
Aim to have these two units make up around 60% of your board, ideally with at least 2 Nimbus Wraiths and as many Hocus Pocus as possible to maintain a consistent yield cycle.

Since Gradation thrives on time investment, it’s best to prioritize Echoes with longer activation times during the early days. Days 1-2 are ideal for picking Echoes like Mimic Chest, Diggy Duggy, and Lottie Lost, as their effects take 3-4 days to trigger, giving them time to ramp up before the phase ends.
Echoes such as these would ideally take up 2-4 spaces each on your board at most, with Diggy Duggy prefferably being less, as its effects take too long to activate with subpar buffs.

The Abyssal Mercator is the best high-rarity Gradation unit to place down on the board, as its Coupon Yield growth is directly affected by other Echoes' yild growth instead of relying on passing days before it activates.
At max, it can increase its own Coupon Yield by 10 each day, if your board is able to generate consistent Coupon Yield increases through Gradation triggers or the Pinwheel Prop effect. Be sure to place them on your board as soon as you get them!
