How to Play Traces of Tides
Collect Photos Within Rinascita
Clues will be given to you via the Scale of Past tab in the Traces of Tides event screen in the form of text and a blurred visual of the location that can be found somewhere in Rinascita.
Once at the location, you may take photos of a landmark with your Zoom Camera, or simply interact with an object to collect a photo.
How to Unlock Traces of Tides
Complete Chapter 2 Act 3
To participate in the Traces of Tides event, players must complete to Chapter 2 Act 3: What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing.
Chapter 2 Act 3 Story Quest Guide
Complete Scales of Memories Quest
Players must also first complete the Scale of Memories Side Quest that is first found in Mt. Firmament in Jinzhou, in order to get the Trace Scale--the key item needed to participate in this event.
Complete Traces of Tides Side Quest
Lastly, the player must also need to complete the titular Side Quest, Traces of Tides, to kick off the event proper. Go to Ragunna City and head to the Pioneer Association, then interact with Fulmine in order to start the quest!
Event Available Indefinitely
Traces of Tides is available to complete even after the end of Version 2.0 by selecting the Trace Scale in your inventory and tapping the Proceed button. Alternatively, you may also equip it in your Utility Wheel and access it from there.
No Need to Complete Previous Scale of Past Events
Players do not need to complete the previous Scale of Pasts found in Mt. Firmament and in The Black Shores in order to unlock Rinascita's version, Traces of Tides.

Once near the designated location, the Zoom Camera will automatically be equipped. Make sure to have the Thorncrown Rises on frame when taking the picture!

Upon arriving at the location, talk to a Nightmare, and approach the ghost after its dialgoue is finished.

Talk to the Troupe upon arriving at the Troupe of Fools base, and they will give the photo upon interacting with them.

Defeat all enemies in the designated area in order to unlock the photo spot. Afterwards, use the Zoom Camera at the specified location, and take a photo of the peak of Penitent's End.

Pick up paper slips on the location designated by the quest. After reading through the note, the photo is automatically obtained.

Defeat nearby Tacet Discords, and find the companions of the crying Nimbus Wraith to get the photo.

Once at the City Square in Ragunna City, use a Grapple to go up a nearby building, then while on the rooftop take a photo of the Temple of Mercury.
Traces of Tides: VIII
Defeat The Lifer in Oakheart Highcourt in order to get the eighth photo for the event. There will be more information about this section once more details are found.
Traces of Tides: IX
Players must clear the Exploration Quest "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" in order to obtaine the ninth photo for this event.
