Version 2.8 Optimizations and Changes
In addition to new content, Kuro Games also included a bunch of new optimizations and QOL changes that improves the experience of players when playing Wuthering Waves from Version 2.8:
| Echo Batch Absorption | Players can now absorb multiple Echoes at once. This is useful especially in Nightmare Nests. |

| Auto Supplement Materials | This feature automatically provides the necessary materials needed for upgrading characters and weapons for Synthesis, Conversion, and Supply Pack opening without the need to go to their menus. |
| Background App Audio Mute | This feature lets you set the game to mute when you switch to a different application. Do note that this is a Windows-only feature. |
| Improved Boss Challenges | Boss challenges now have a restart button when you defeat them and go to claim their rewards. |
| Optimized Guidebook Display | The Guidebook is now optimized to display repeating gamemodes like Whimpering Wastes and Tower of Adversity under one tab starting Version 2.8. |
| Improved Graphics | Graphics are improved with better immersive lighting and adjustments to ray tracing for players to enjoy the game. |
