I mean, you can still time travel forward back to your current time (again, save and close the game, press X to totally close the game. go to switch settings and turn on "Synchronize Clock via Internet")
Btw, once you have turnips, don't time travel at all. Your turnips will get rotten even if you time travel backwards for 1s.
You can actually time travel back before 11:59am to see her again. It won't cause harm to do so (unless you travel a few days ahead, which will affect your ATM nook mileage bonus).

You first dropped a pear than 1 turnip took it back and you dropped it again I checked and still have 1 turnip in my inv if you are trying to scan be more conspicuous if you wand I'll give you the 1 turnip back
