Only best friend can use shovel on your island, so most likely people cannot plant trees on your island. You can, however, plant the fruits to the ground, and they will grow into trees. Why don't you come to my island now? It's currently meteor shower and celeste is there. I will grab you some fruits (just tell me your name).
I have tons of apples and can give you some trees if you would like. I would rather have a couple other fruit trees than bells though. What kind of fruit do you have?
