Obducite is the primary material used to upgrade equipment affixes through Masterworking in Diablo 4 (D4). Learn how to farm and utilize Obducite in this guide!

The Infernal Horde's Spoils of Materials is the best and fastest way for farming Obducite, allowing you to earn thousands of Obducites per run. Once you reach Torment difficulty use an Infernal Compass to enter the Infernal Horde.
Nightmare Dungeons are prime sources of Obducite and other Masterworking materials, as Elites and chests within these dungeons drop them frequently in addition to clearing the dungeon.
Clearing the Undercity of Kurast by defeating its bosses rewards Obducite and other valuable materials. Clearing the Undercity with more Attunement or using special Tributes can increase the rewards.
The Undercity of Kurast is a new multistage, time-attack dungeon that was introduced in the Vessel of Hatred Expansion where you slay hordes of enemies to extend your time in the Undercity enough to slay one of its bosses.
You can transmute Ingoliths or Neathiron into Obducite at the Alchemist, but this is only available in the Eternal Realm as these old materials are no longer obtainable.
Obducite is a late-game Masterworking material only obtainable after reaching level 60. Playing on higher difficulties increases your chances of acquiring Obducite.

Obducite is crucial for upgrading equipment affixes via Masterworking at the Blacksmith. To upgrade your gear, interact with the Blacksmith and switch to the Masterworks Tab.
