To easily catch the fish you want, you'll need to craft fish bait! This will help attract more fish instead of just waiting for one to pop out!
2. Check Shadow Size
You'll need to check the shadow size of the fish that appeared and make sure it's similar to the Cherry Salmon.
3. Go Fish!
Once you're sure the fish that appeared has the same shadow size as the fish you want, it's time to prepare your Fishing Rod and go fish!

I caught a cherry salmon in the northern hemisphere today and the critterpedia entry says they’re around March-June and Sept-Nov all day. I can send screenshots if anyone from game8 sees this!
