1. Craft Fish Bait

To easily catch the fish you want, you'll need to craft fish bait! This will help attract more fish instead of just waiting for one to pop out!

2. Check Shadow Size

You'll need to check the shadow size of the fish that appeared and make sure it's similar to the Seahorse.

3. Go Fish!

Once you're sure the fish that appeared has the same shadow size as the fish you want, it's time to prepare your Fishing Rod and go fish!

Dialogue When Caught

"I caught a sea horse! But...where's its sea jockey?"

Dialogue When Donated to Blathers

Ah, a favorite of mine, to be sure! The sea horse is such a very unique creature and is indeed a fish! Though, as far as fish go, sea horses are not great swimmers.

The sea horse, you see, has but a wee fin on its back, which propels it through water rather poorly. Thus these fish are often found using their prehensile tails to hold tight in amongst the sea grass. And here's one final fact for you... Sea horses have no stomach and so must constantly feed to stay alive!

Indeed, the life of a land horse sounds far easier than that of the hardworking horse of the sea.
