1 　 Craft Fish Bait and throw it into the sea to attract fish.
2 　 Check if the shadow of the fish that appeared is similar to the Ribbon Eel.

　 Equip your Fishing Rod ACNH - Fishing Rod

1. Craft Fish Bait

To easily catch the fish you want, you'll need to craft fish bait! This will help attract more fish instead of just waiting for one to pop out!

2. Check Shadow Size

You'll need to check the shadow size of the fish that appeared and make sure it's similar to the Ribbon Eel.

3. Go Fish!

Once you're sure the fish that appeared has the same shadow size as the fish you want, it's time to prepare your Fishing Rod and go fish!

　 “The ribbon eel is related to the moray eel, though its bright coloration distinguishes it.

　 It also has a an unusual plant-like appendage at the tip of its nose that flutters as the creature moves.

　 I like to think of it as having an extremely friendly nose that waves a greeting to those nearby!”
