meteors aren't random at all. they are a set formula. if you can discover your island seed you can easily see when they are scheduled. use a site like meteonook to find out your pattern, once you do, you'll know down to the second when meteors are falling.. https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/

Just wait throughout the day. Be patient.. though you can only have around 20 fragments per day.
Hi! I spent a long time last night wishing on stars. I woke up early this morning, so I moved my clock forward to get a jump on things. I still didn’t find that many star fragments! :(
They do spawn during the night, and only if your Sky is clear (no clouds) - You can then either look up and wait until it happens, or until you hear a fairly quiet twinkling sound. Zodiac Fragments apparently only spawn from meteor showers, which are announced by Isabelle for the day they happen on.
I have a Cherry Blossom Wand recipe and it takes 3 Cherry-Blossom petals and 3 Star Fragments I found it in a balloon, I believe it was either red or yellow

I thought so. I made 4 wishes and found 4 fragments the next day
Meteors can also appear on days when neither Tom Nook or Isabelle announce them. I've had two without an announcement

I got a recipe in a bottle for bamboo wand 6x young spring bamboo 3x star fragment. Didnt see this recipe listed.
Does time traveling work to go back in time to meteor showers?
I wished many many times around 300 and only got 3 star fragments and 2 aries. Is it really related to the number of times we wish?
