I don't see anything about how to get Sable to talk to you. Once you are part of the "family", sable gives you patterns to use for customizing furniture.

I have been playing for 32 days, Mabel has set up her blanket multiple times in my town square, I’ve bought from her multiple times but she still hasn’t asked to set up shop... and now she isn’t coming back... is this a bug or does it really take this long?
Approximately how many items of clothing do I need to buy to convince her to set up a shop?
I forgot to convince her to build her shop and now she's gone. Will she eventually come back?
