Calcharo is doing basic attacks during his death messenger mode and not heavy attack. Verdant summit passive is kind of useless to him except his mercy attack. Illustrous razor passive is more beneficial. But yeah, crit rate weapon is better. There's only a small damage difference between summti and razor.

If verdant summit is better than illustrous razor because it buff's heavy atks then Tempest Mephis is better than thundering Mephis because it buff's the same heavy atk while Thundering Mephis buff liberation which is considered as a basic atk so Thundering Mephis is 👎
