Alright. I got the thing to trigger. But I am on 26 houses and I haven’t gotten lottie and wardel to talk about donating to niko to get more types. This sucks. The game doesn’t even know how to function properly.
Woohoo!!!! It worked. Time-traveled two days and she flew “to work.” When she got off the plane, Niko talked to her about DIY and then immediately asked her to go to class, triggering the school scene. Yay!! She had also wanted to “stop” the end credits/festival and have the DLC go back to “normal” - that automatically happened as well, when she time traveled and then went to work.
My kid has been playing nonstop and got to 30 houses and the end credits but DIY pillars never triggered. The only way that she can interact with Niko is next to his boat - only options are (1) client-visit, (2) dance or (3) nevermind…. Will try time travel…
There is a set amount of day that are required for Niko to trigger the school scene where he teaches you the diys. If the quest isn't triggering for you just time travel ahead.

I am on my 19th house and I’ve only mad it to step 2. Yesterday niko asked for some diy Ideas but today didn’t say anything about pillars.
