    Regarding to the amount of candy you can buy, you can actually go to another island to buy candy! But the rules do apply when going to buy candy. 1 per customer. So you pretty much have to travel to different islands if you want to have a stash before hand. So if i want to get 5 candys in one day, i have to go to 5 different islands to get that amount in one day. But you can always wait till the actual day to get candy.
