Something to kill time duh lol. Then I wouldn’t have to sleep with the sleeping bag lol. Forgot the other choices. I’m 2nd player though I told my sister to choose something to kill time.

I think I picked sleeping bag and weirdly today two of my villagers gave me a sleeping bag because according to them I was looking for one? not sure if it is to do with that or something else but couldn't find anything about it
I rerolled 9 times and chose sleeping bag each time - I didn't pay attention to what villagers I got (I ended up with Canberra and Axel), but no trends as far as fruit/airport colors go (in 9 re-rolls I saw all the fruits and all 4 airport colors represented - ended up with oranges/green)
I think they might add something later on based on what answer you picked. In new leaf, the answers you gave in the train when first visiting your city also affected the way your character looked like.
Me and my wife have a switch and tested the theory on fruit and it seemed to match what I’ve seen other people get but
I picked a sleeping bag. Got cherry as fruit and my airplane is yellow :b My husband picked “something to kill time” and his fruit is Peaches and his airport is orange :) i dont know if that is a fact? :b

this is not true. i picked something to kill time for my AC switch and sleeping bag for my OG switch and the airports are both green.
it affects the colour of the airport.
i feel like this will still affect some things later in the game. it just feels weird to not have any effect
That makes sense! If that is the case then we should really take care what we answer, or we face having really bad neighbors.
If only it were that easy Lol. Yeah, this game can really pass the time. I've lined it up along with some Harvest Moon and Rune Factory titles
I think there are games already existing like that. For me I remember a Silent Hill game that's adjusting the game based on a psych profile you had to answer before the game.
Food is a sensible choice. Just wish it would really be something like a need that can be traded, y'know, something like that.
