I don't think I've seen this one anywhere. I've been playing it for about a year. It's built up, but I haven't changed the terrain.

... I think they mean by the rocks that is surrounding your beaches.

If you reroll for a new layout does everything (including villagers and residents) get wiped out? Or does everything shift placements? I didn't see any information about that.

Why does it matter where the rocks are? You can just break them after eating fruit and they will repawn somewhere else...
You cannot play on a different island if you share the Switch. Absolutely no way around it.
