    I was only able to get the switch lite after installing and linking the nook link app on my phone

    For people, still looking for this item you have to go to the Nintendo eShop to download the DLC that allows you to buy this item in-game. A ton of news sources reported only needing the Nintendo Switch Online Membership subscription, giving people the impression it came downloaded in-game with the automatic Ver 1.9.0 update.

    I have both the update and an active Nintendo Online subscription and don’t have access to the Switch Lite. There’s got to be something else you need - perhaps it only appears if you have your own account, not a family plan?
