This guide will show you how to get Red Hyacinths in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH). Read on to learn how to breed Red Hyacinths and get more of them in your town!

How to Get Red Hyacinths
Buy Red Hyacinth Seeds
You can buy red hyacinth seeds from Nook's Cranny or from Leif's Garden Shop. One bag of red hyacinth seeds costs 240 bells while five bags cost 1200 bells.
Find them on Your Island
Red Hyacinths may grow on your island if your birthday is between February 1st and April 30th. The wild red hyacinths will grow on top of the cliffs on your island, so you need access to those first.
Use a Ladder to Get the Flowers
To access the Red Hyacinths on your cliffs, make and use a Ladder.
Get them from Mystery Tours
If Red Hyacinths are not growing natively on your island, there is a chance they might grow on Mystery Islands. Note that Mystery Islands can only ever give you one other type of flower, so you're not guaranteed to find Red Hyacinths on them.
Trade Online
If you're struggling to get a specific flower type or hybrid color, trading with others online might be the quickest way to get them!

| 1 | Gather some Red Hyacinths, from the wild or seeds. |

| 2 | Plant them so they are next to each other. |
| 3 | Water them with your Watering Can. |
| 4 | Check for new flowers next day and repeat from step 3 if there are none. |
Red Hyacinths may not grow the next day
Even if you've fulfilled all the preconditions for Cross Pollination, Red Hyacinths may not grow the very next day. If there are no new flowers, you'll simply have to continue watering them.
Clone the Red Hyacinths you have
The easiest way to get Red Hyacinths for sure is to clone the ones you have. To clone flowers, plant them somewhere where they aren't touching any other flowers of their type and water them every day. Eventually, they will make a copy of themselves in one of the empty spaces!
Repeat the Breeding Process
Once you get Red Hyacinths to grow, you can repeat the process to get more. These flowers are used to make other hybrid flowers as well, so why not grow a lot while you're at it?
