How to Get Grasshoppers to Spawn

| Tip 3 | Head to a mystery island |
All grasshoppers spawn during daytime in the season of summer, so be sure to play during those dates and times when you're going grasshopper hunting!
If all else fails, or if you don't want to run around near your trees, you can head to a Mysterious Island and use your net to catch some grasshoppers.

You never know when the bug you are searching for might just pop out in front of you on its own, so always keep your net equipped and at the ready!
2. Run around and press A to catch grasshoppers
Grasshoppers run around quickly and can hope a good distance away from you, so be sure to catch up by running right at them and pressing A to catch them!
