    I usually do

No, they're (sadly) available all day, all year.

Is there a season without seabass

    18 Anonymousalmost 4 yearsReport

One correction, Frogs are definitely not just catchable on rainy days. I just fished up a load in full sun, and not for the first time. They sell for very little though so most get tossed back in :D

Stop shooting them down that close to water and your problem will be solved. There's no way to retrieve them.

tickets are so expensive though. i hope I get a better island the next time, cause its not really worth going on tours for me,.

    15 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

It's highly effective though but I wouldn't consider it as gamebreaking. It's quite hard to find an island like that and the scaring fish requirements is quite tedious and it might get your nerves sometime.

I don't think this counts as abuse lol ACNH mechanics are just like that and its not a guaranteed way of getting a fish you'd want.

    13 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Hell yeah!! This is how I make LOTS of BELLS in ACNH. Haven't been telling my friends about it I'm just abusing it and hope they don't patch it.

Oh I saw this in a youtube vid as well, it doesnt work ALL THE TIME but if you want a way to force spawn Sturgeons, this is the way.

Keep spamming random islands until you get one with 3 layers with a river running down it towards the ocean. Make sure to scare all the fishes from the top of the river downwards, this way only in the Ocean fishes will spawn. If you see a big shadow, chances are that will be a Sturgeon if it is in season

I got two the other day! If you are aiming for your first Oarfish or whatever fish you want to get, know what size their shadows are. That way, you can ignore other shadows that aren't the one you're trying to find.

    9 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Managed to get my hands on one. Make sure you are fishing in the sea and not rivers and lakes. Its worth waiting for CJ to come and buy the Oarfish once you get one though.

You have to see when the bait goes down, there is also a different sound effect when you caught a fish. Practice to see those differences and you should get the hang of it :)

I want to get my hands on an Oarish! Any tips? I seem to don't have ANY luck when it comes to fishing. Bug catching is another story, however.

I keep on messing up my fishing. I don't know the proper timing on pressing the button. I already missed many size 6s.IM RELLY BAD AT TIMING things

    5 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Is there any way to retrieve an item that fell into seas/rivers? It keeps on happening to me and its getting annoying.

    4 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

I can't seem to find Sturgeons in my game. Any tips on how to get Sturgeon to spawn? I'm just spamming random islands.

    3 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Whew, i'm glad this game doesn't use button mashing mechanics for fishing.
