1. Craft Fish Bait

To easily catch the fish you want, you'll need to craft fish bait! This will help attract more fish instead of just waiting for one to pop out!

2. Check Shadow Size

You'll need to check the shadow size of the fish that appeared and make sure it's similar to the Yellow Perch.

3. Go Fish!

Once you're sure the fish that appeared has the same shadow size as the fish you want, it's time to prepare your Fishing Rod and go fish!

Yellow Perch Additional Info

Dialogue When Caught

"I caught a yellow perch! Those yellow birds have to sit somewhere!"

Dialogue When Donated to Blathers

The yellow perch is certainly worth squawking about. I find it a sight to behold! That jagged dorsal fin! Those brilliant stripes! Those glorious colours! Hoo, truly it is quite the specimen.

I would be thrilled to witness it firsthand in its natural environment... But the yellow perch's peak season is winter, I'm afraid. (So very afraid... of winter's biting chill...)
