1. Craft Fish Bait

To easily catch the fish you want, you'll need to craft fish bait! This will help attract more fish instead of just waiting for one to pop out!

2. Check Shadow Size

You'll need to check the shadow size of the fish that appeared and make sure it's similar to the Loach.

3. Go Fish!

Once you're sure the fish that appeared has the same shadow size as the fish you want, it's time to prepare your Fishing Rod and go fish!

Loach Additional Info

Dialogue When Caught

"I caught a loach! It's ... looking at me with reproach."

Dialogue When Donated to Blathers

Loaches are a large group of bottom-feeding freshwater fish. Because there are so many species, it is difficult to generalize about them all.

The one thing they all have in common is perhaps their most unappealing trait; the name 'loach.' Repellent, isn't it? They should have just called it the 'cockloach' and been done with it, eh wot!

Loach...loach... It just tastes terrible in the beak.
