2.0 Perks and Skill Tree Guide
Hasty Retreat | |||
---|---|---|---|
Attribute | Cool | ||

Unlocked At | Level 16 in Cool Attribute |
Level 1 | Temporarily boosts movement speed by 50% for 5 sec. when detected by an enemy. |

Reason | Good as an escape tactic however, it defeats the purpose of stealth which this skill tree is supposed to increase. |
The skill itself is not extremely useful as allowing yourself to escape quickly when detected does not completely avoid detection which is crucial in the Stealth skill.
But, if you are more on the aggressive-type of play, this can come into play to allow you to get into a better position in a gunfight once you are detected.

Every review I've seen of this perk seems backwards. While you could potentially use it to rush into combat, it's called Hasty Retreat because it allows you to rush back into cover before you're detected. Great for careless wannabe sneaks like me.
