Fortunate Son Choices and Best Choice

Hospital Employee: Dead or Alive

Kill the hospital employee

In the first part of the conversation, you will have the option of keeping the hospital employee alive or dead. If you kill him, you will still be able to get implant but without knowing it has a virus.

Spare the hospital employee

If you keep him alive, before you leave the area, he will inform you of a virus that the implant has and gives you the shard to remove the virus.

Best Choice

While the mission will still be accomplished, killing the employee without getting the shard first would result to the death of the Nomad kid. So, option two is better since it leads to a more positive outcome.
