The Toxicology perk has been removed as of Update 2.0. The 2.0 update featured a massive perks overhaul that removed, rebalanced, or completely changed every old perk from the 1.6 Edgerunners Update and Base Game.

| Reason | This is highly dependent on skills that apply Poison immediately otherwise it would not be as effective. |
Toxicology, being the last skill in the Ninjutsu skill tree, only increases the time duration of Poison. While that in itself is useful, there are very few Poison-inducing attacks that makes this perk a lot less useful than most.
In order to maximize the effect of Toxicology, it is highly recommended that you partner it with the skills Dagger Dealer and Venomous Fangs. This will ensure all your knife attacks will deal Poison on your opponents. Combined with Toxicology, the poison effect will last longer.
Otherwise, you need to invest in crafting or finding weapons that have chances of inflicting Poison on your targets or a lot of Molodets Biohaz Grenade.
