The Sniper perk has been removed as of Update 2.0. The 2.0 update featured a massive perks overhaul that removed, rebalanced, or completely changed every old perk from the 1.6 Edgerunners Update and Base Game.

| Reason | When paired with Snipers that have a high headshot multipliers, this will almost ensure a one-hit kill on any target (except for bosses). |
One way to get quick Ninjutsu EXP is to use snipers before a battle is initiated. However, there are some opponents that are rather well equipped and can avoid instant kills from Snipers even from headshots.
When this perk is leveled up to its max, it will almost always ensure instant kills from any sniper that have a decent headshot multiplier. Pair this with the Nerves of Steel perk from the Assault perk tree, then, any headshot from any Sniper would almost always cause a one-hit kill.
