The crux of the story of Cyberpunk 2077 is a prototype biochip which is said to be the key to eternal life.
As a mercenary loyal to cash and cash alone, the main character, V, steals the chip dreaming of instant fortune – but ends up having to slot the chip into their own head.
The chip holds more than is promised – including the computerized soul of Johnny Silverhand, a rockerboy bent on the destruction of the Arasaka megacorp.
You can choose to be Johnny's friend or turn your back on him, and this choice determines how the story unfolds from this point on.
But don't forget that no matter what you choose, with the secret to eternal life in your head, and figures high and low who will do anything to get it, there will be danger around every corner in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
