Is Cyberpunk 2077 Good Now?

Cyberpunk 2077 is Mostly Fixed on PC, Next-Gen Consoles

Cyberpunk 2077 Mostly Fixed for PC

It's hard to deny the sheer number of bugs Cyberpunk 2077 came out with on launch day in 2020.

But it has been almost two years since then, and CD Projekt Red has rolled out many patches to fix the game. In 2022 alone, they came out with the major 1.5 and 1.6 patches, bringing not only sought-after features but hundreds of bug fixes.

Our team has confirmed that, so far, there are no game-breaking bugs in the main story of the game's PC version, as well as the PlayStation 4 version being played on the PlayStation 5.

We will update this article as soon as we come across any bugs in the side gigs, as well as other content.

Cyberpunk 2077 Still Has Bugs

Despite the new patches, however, multiple users are still reporting bugs as of October 11, 2022. However, most of these issues are occasional problems unlike those on launch day, which prevented players from continuing the game.

One user reported online that they fell through the road while on their motorbike, while another user posted a video of textures for an overpass failing to load in time, making it seem that the structure was incomplete.

It appears that the Xbox Series X version of the game isn't safe from bugs also, with one user posting a video of textures in V's apartment glitching out after using 'Performance Mode'.

Patch 1.5 Bug Fixes

Patch 1.5 brought major changes to the AI of NPCs in Night City, where they started reacting to the player's actions and would even participate in combat. That's on top of enemy combat AI being much better than in previous versions.

Cars are handled better in this version too, feeling somewhat like actual vehicles. Clipping issues involving NPCs were fixed, while the perk tree was mostly reworked.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Patch 1.6: Edgerunners Update

In Patch 1.6, clipping issues with vehicles and some missions were fixed. Issues with quests like Automatic Love and Epistrophy were also sorted out in this patch, as well as the incorrect spawning of vehicles in traffic.
