Cyberpunk 2077 Gorilla Arms Build 02.png
This is a guide to creating the Gorilla Arms build in Cyberpunk 2077. Check here for details about the build, what attributes to level up, which perks to choose, and what equipment to use.

How to Use the Gorilla Arms Build

Cyberpunk 2077 Gorilla Arms Build 01.png
Gorilla Arms are a set of cyberware that serves as an upgrade to V's fists. While not as ranged as most blunt weapons, they can be relatively quicker and has some nasty effects on them once equipped with the appropriate mods.

Best Attributes For Gorilla Arms Build

Body

Similar to the Blunt Weapon build, the Body attribute will be the most valuable attribute for a Gorilla Arms build. It will give you melee bonuses as well as increase your health and stamina which will be crucial since with this build, you tend to go up close and personal, exposing you to damage.

Body determines your raw physical power. In addition to allowing you to force open doors, each level of Body (starting from level 3) will:
- Add 5 Health Points
- Add 3 Stamina Points
- Increase damage with fists and Gorilla Arms by 3
Increase damage with melee weapons by 1.5%
Decrease movement penalty while grabbing an enemy and wielding on HMG by 6%
- Increase movement while grappling an enemy and enemy grapple duration by 5 sec

Technical Ability

Technical Ability is a great secondary attribute to build up for a melee build. It raises defenses and includes some handy perks to boost defenses when closing in on enemies.

Technical Ability represents your technical know-how. It allows you to unlock doors and use Tech weapons. Each increase in level will increase your Armor by 5%.

Best Perks For Gorilla Arms Build

Steel and Chrome

Perk Steel And Chrome
Skill Tree Body | Athletics
Required Attribute Lv. 9
Effect (Lv. 1) Increases melee damage by 10%.

Steel And Chrome is a flat damage increase to melee attacks. It can also be stacked to further increase damage making it great for any type of melee build.

Flurry

Perk Flurry
Skill Tree Body | Street Brawler
Required Attribute Lv. 3
Effect (Lv. 1) Increases damage from combo attacks with Blunt Weapons by 30%.

If you are running with a blunt weapon melee build, this is a great perk with 3 levels. If you are using a battery and had just unleashed the charge of your Gorilla Arms, then, these would ensure a potent attack with each combo you land.

Payback

Perk Payback
Skill Tree Body | Street Brawler
Required Attribute Lv. 10
Effect (Lv. 1) Increases damage with Blunt Weapons by 1% for every 1% of missing Health.

This is a good combo especially when you are low on health. This is incredibly helpful especially on the notoriously difficult Beat on the Brat missions that require you to use your fists while having to face incredibly strong opponents.

For this build, you would want to stick to the best kind of Monowire available.

    • In the crafting screen, would love to see a comparison between what I'm currently equipped with vs what I've selected to craft. In the Inventory screen, I have no idea where any extra weight is without going into each category (weapons, clothes, etc). Please add some sort of weight indicator next to each category so I know exactly where I seem to be overloaded. In the Map, please mark completed items (assault in progress, access points), grey out the icons or something similar?

it's fine, I just took an older save before Takemura calls me
