What is Legendary Clothing?

Legendary Clothing is the highest of five tiers of Clothing quality.

This marks them as superior to clothing of Common, Uncommon, Rare, and even Epic quality.

Clothing of the Legendary tier tend to have a greater number of Mod Slots, to a max of 3, although they can rarely have 4 slots.

How to Get Legendary Clothing

Obtainable from Gigs Starting at Level 32

Legendary Clothing cannot be dropped by random no-name enemies like those of lower tiers can. It's also not possible to receive Legendary Clothing from NCPD Scanner Hustles, no matter how high the player's level.

However, when the player has reached at least Level 32, it's possible to find Legendary Clothing as a reward for Gigs.

The chance of receiving a Legendary Item is extremely low at first, but rises quickly to nearly 50-50 odds by player level 40. Reaching this level is not easy, but once you're at this stage, completing Gigs will be an efficient way to find more Legendary Clothing.

Use Legendary Crafting Specs

Once you've hit 18 in the Technical Ability Attribute, you'll be able to unlock the Edgerunner Artisan Perk, allowing the use of Legendary Crafting Specs to craft Legendary Clothing.

You'll need to find the Legendary Crafting Spec for the needed item, and the required components, but once you've done that, you'll be able to make Legendary Clothing which is even more resilient than that found on its own.

Sometimes Available in Shops

Rarely, it's possible to find Legendary Clothing Specs in Shops. The items available in Shops is limited by Street Cred, so you'll want to raise your Street Cred as much as possible first to maximize your chance of Legendary Clothing Specs appearing.

Legendary Clothing Specs sold in shops will not always be available. The pool of items available in Shops is not totally random, but it's not set which items from the pool will be available at any given time, so you'll need to refresh Shops by waiting 48 hours or going very far away and coming back to try to reset for more Legendary Clothing Specs.
