The Pain Is An Illusion perk has been removed as of Update 2.0. The 2.0 update featured a massive perks overhaul that removed, rebalanced, or completely changed every old perk from the 1.6 Edgerunners Update and Base Game.

| Reason | The damage decrease allows you to survive longer in battle and use the Cold Bood effects more. |
Cold Blood has a great mixture of defensive perks - this one is one of the better ones especially when combined with Defensive Clotting, which greatly reduces the damage you receive.
This will then allow you to maximize the offensive bonuses the Cold Blood perk tree has to offer. Just make sure you maintain Cold Blood to ensure you maximize the bonus.
