Losing My Religion becomes available after talking to a monk on the Northside docks at any point after reaching Act 2.

After defeating the gangoons, look for the iconic weapon Fenrir on the table near the monk's brother before leaving the area.
When starting the side job, the monk you first talk to will ask you to try and settle it peacefuly. We know peaceful isn't in the vocabulary for the Maelstrom, so the closest thing you can do is take em out through non-lethal means. But in the end, whether you kill them or not will not affect the outcome or rewards and will just change the dialogue of Johnny and the monk you save.
