Belly Of The Beast Quest Objectives

Arasaka Tower

Objectives

Objective Icon.pngJoin Mitch and Saul.
Get out of the Basilisk after talking to Panam and head over to Mitch and Saul. Go up the stairs into the computer room and start the SERC.

Objective Icon.pngLook around for a maintenance shaft.
Once you've drilled through get up and enter Arasaka Tower. The maintenance shaft is on the left side of the room past a group of drones that are patrolling. Go up the ladder and into the shaft. Take another ladder up then exit the shaft.

Objective Icon.pngNeutralize the guards to access the terminal.
Leave the room and take out the guards in the area any way you'd like then get to the terminal. You now need to get to the security room.
Method 1: If you have 13 points in Body you can force open the door but you'll then have to deal with guards coming after you.
Method 2: Take the stairs outside of the room down and enter the manufacturing area. The security room is on the other side past some guards.

Objective Icon.pngSlot the shard into the terminal.
Once inside the security room, head to the back and put the shard in. Watch out for the guard in the room. Leave the room and make your way towards the netrunner's nest. The drones in the next room will be malfunctioning and attacking Arasaka employees so you don't need to worry about them. Go through the rooms and you will get to Mikoshi.

Objective Icon.pngDefeat Adam Smasher.
As you pass through the gate, good old friend Adam Smasher will ambush you so you'll need to take him out. Panam will be helping in this route but he'll focus on you. When he goes down you can choose to decide his fate or not then move on to Mikoshi.

Objective Icon.pngGet to the Mikoshi Access Point.
Enter the room and connect to Mikoshi. If you want to save some time when collecting trophies, make a save before you connect. You will wake up on the elevator leading to the roof Misty took you to when you made your choice. Pick up the necklace near the chairs and you will be taken to the inside of Miksohi. Follow the path up the stairs to find Johnny waiting. After a conversation you will have a choice to make.

Using the Force Open the Gate method is the best because it bypasses a lot of the infiltration area with very little resistance.

Stealth Route Guides

Regular Way Go down the stairs on the right of the starting room, and then crouch-walk cover to cover, heading straight to the room where the security room is found.
Force Open the Gate If you have sufficient body attribute, you can force open the gate in the control room, which offers a shortcut to a grate leading to the security room. Before dropping down, check if the netrunner is alone as a security guard sometimes patrols the booth.
Eliminate Opposition You can go downstairs and walk along the left-hand wall, and eliminate all enemies who will be facing away from you. When you reach a ladder, climb to the walkway, and neutralize the guard there. You'll be able to drop down almost directly to the grate leading to the security booth, then drop down next to the netrunner.

Guns Blazing Guide

Go down the stairs to the right of the starting room, then make a direct beeline to the front towards the door that has the netrunner.

Belly Of The Beast Choices and Best Choice

Return to Your Body or Give Your Body to Johnny

Choice Outcome
Return to Your Body This option will put you on the path to getting the Star Ending and Trophy, returning you to the real world.
Give Your Body to Johnny This option will put you on the path to getting the Temperance Ending and Trophy, forfeiting your body to Johnny for him to live again in your place.

Best Choice

Either option is fine depending on how you feel about it. If you're looking to get all the Trophies, you'll end up having to view both anyways.

Boss Guide - Adam Smasher

Use Hacks

Adam Smasher will start out at 80% HP in this route and you'll have Panam along as well. He hits hard and his HP doesn't go down super quickly so if you have strong Eletrical quickhacks make use of them to take him down faster. At around 50% HP some snipers will appear in the upper areas of the room so take them out and keep after Smasher. As he gets weaker his movements will get slower but he'll start launching missiles at you. Once he falls over you can easily get in a few shots that can finish him for good.
