How to Get Perk Points

Leveling Up

The most basic way to gain Perk Points in Cyberpunk is by leveling up. Leveling up will give you Attribute Points as well as a Perk Point per level. Completing main quests, as well as smaller side quests, such as Assault in Progress or Organized Crime Activity quests are an easy way to gain some EXP!

Skill Progression

Another way to gain Perk Points is through increasing Skill Progression. As skills are practiced, your Skill Progression will increase. Each time your Skill Progression increases, you will gain a reward. Some of these rewards are Perk Points.

Every skill can be leveled up to gain either 6 or 7 Perk Points. Using a good mix of multiple weapon types and character skills is a good way to ensure you can level up each skill tree and pick up more perk points!

Perk Shards

Perk Shards are a rare item that will allow you to acquire or level up any perk of your choice when found. While you won't come across them extremely often, certain side jobs or NCPD scanner hussles can sometimes lead to you finding one, so be sure to take out hostile threats and loot the rewards when you come across them.

    • In the crafting screen, would love to see a comparison between what I'm currently equipped with vs what I've selected to craft. In the Inventory screen, I have no idea where any extra weight is without going into each category (weapons, clothes, etc). Please add some sort of weight indicator next to each category so I know exactly where I seem to be overloaded. In the Map, please mark completed items (assault in progress, access points), grey out the icons or something similar?

Ran into the same problem with Iris not wanting to get in the van (in v1.31) but coerced her into doing it by backing the van up into her. She'll jump out of the way if you try to ram her, but backing up and bumping her teleports her to the side of the van, where she'll get in.
