** I meant to type block #9 but i guess you can't edit comments after posting, crappy website.

energy block #10 in this post doesn't offer a good picture of where its location actually is. The poster really should include the actuals and not random circles on the map depicting nothing. Its not in the opening of the cave you have to pretty far from there, here's a picture of the location

loosely translated runic words might be "on an auroch of wealth Giant god rides", which could refer to Sumeru questline or just be coinsidential. Go figure.

the number sequence is a message that refers to the game lore, but I don't want to spoil it to anyone

however, these names (uruz, raidho etc.) related to mythology, nature, environment and human condition.

i almost wanna said the number is fibonacci number but sadly it isn't. it's something else and related to old runes.

fehu - cattle, wealth uruz - aurochs or *ûram "water/slag"? thurisaz - thurs (see jötunn) or *þunraz ("the god thunraz") ansuz - god raidho - ride, journey

Once u have gotten the achievement the rest of the power blocks vanish from inventory and if there were any that weren't gotten! I'd love it if someone figured out the codes and what they mean! They definitely have a meaning wether it's towards the game or an inside message to one of the makers/designers, etc!

Damn youre right located at the gears

Those codes are first 5 of the old norse runic alphabets aka "Futhark" Each rune has also a word meaning.

After I put all Blocks in, the last four vanished from my inventory. Is that normal? Were there just extras...?

I found one more Lost Energy Block near 4-7 That makes 20 shards in total I guess

Just guessing, cipher things in Dragonspine, The Chasm, and Sumeru (plus some poet in The Chasm), are needed for post-game theory puzzle (yeah, like Khaen and Celestia theories, or something like them).. . . . Just hope this game got neat conclusion for a post-game. Many animes or games have given many theories, but the final conclusions are not good..

I collected just enough to unlock all the ruin guards for the achievement, and went back to each location in this post, but the remaining 4 energy blocks are not there anymore, so I think they're just extra

Around Sumeru you can find ruin machines trapped by stone pillar seals you need to use fire to break. That machine's name contains a code and a complete set of numbers similar to those listed already in the comments.

All together there are a total of 19 Lost Energy Blocks, but you only need 15 to complete the quest, so a total of 5 ruin guards as well. The other 4 are extra that you don't really need, and upon completion you will be given the "In The Name of Anfortas" Achievement. Now all that's left is for someone to decode the last words of these "heros"

The final ruin guard is just above and to the left of the Sumeru fishing shop woman where you get the bait and weapon. This ruin guard is listed under Records: Code "Uruz" and it's code is as follows ".1-..1.-.-.1-.2-.2-1.1-2-.-.3-..."

The next ruin guard is higher up the cliff from Code "Ansuz" though further south on the map. Just above the large tube entrance that leads below the giant ruin machine. This ruin guard is listed under Records: Code "Raidho" and it's code is as follows "1..1-....-..1.-2.-."

    8 Jashin325over 2 yearsReport

This ruin guard is located to the right, just on the edge of the cliff, south of the waypoint listed under Records: Code "Ansuz" and it's code is as follows "1-1.2-....-..1.-2-....-.2-.1..-1.-"

    7 Jashin325over 2 yearsReport
