Roams the Area to the East of the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace

Logur the Beast Claw can be found roaming the fields to the east of the Grave Site Plains site of grace. At the site of grace, choose to pass the time till noon before heading east to search the area for Logur.

Logur the Beast Claw Weakness

Weak to Lightning Damage

Logur the Beast Claw is weakest to attacks that deal Lightning damage, which we tested by comparing the damage per hit of the same weapon using different elemental greases.

The Dragon Greatclaw and DLC-exclusive Death Knight's Twin Axes are some strong Lightning weapons, but you can also choose any Lightning-infused weapon of your choice.

For ranged builds, you can go with incantations like Lightning Spear and Ancient Dragons' Lightning Strike, or the Ash of War Thunderbolt.

Weak to Strike Weapons

Based on our pure physical damage tests, Logur is most susceptible to Strike-type damage.

Since Logur is a nimble enemy, it is best to use fast swinging Strike-type weapons like Whips or the new Dryleaf Arts weapon to exploit Logur's weakness.

How to Beat Logur the Beast Claw

Space Out and Wait For His Combos to End

Logur can use multiple consecutive attacks when attacking. These attacks can also close the gap between him and the player so its highly recommended to always keep your position far from Logur. Once he uses an attack, wait for the combo to end which will cause him to be in close range. Counter with your own combo after the attacks ends to deal damage to Logur safely.

Use Poison And Run to Stall

Another viable method to beating Logur is using poison and using Torrent to run away from Logur. Lure him around the vicinity by running in circles to stall out the fight and slowly kill Logur.

Use High Poise Damaging Moves

Since Logur wears no armor, he can be easily staggered by heavy attacks, colossal weapons, Ashes of War, and Guard counters. Use this to your advantage to cancel his attacks mid-animation, especially when he's being too aggressive with his beast claws.
