Note that both your Mimic Tear and Dung Eater Puppet will still be vulnerable to status effects, so it is best to consider an alternative when fighting an enemy capable of death blight such as the Divine Beast Dancing Lion in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

The maximum level for the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing upgrade is level 10.
Spirit Ashes in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC inherit their glovewort upgrades from the base game with an additional attack power and damage negation scaling through Revered Spirit Ashes.
To upgrade your Spirit Ashes in the DLC, collect Revered Spirit Ashes and rest at any Site of Grace then select Revered Spirit Ash Blessing through the Shadow Realm Blessings menu. This upgrade is applied universally to all Spirit Ashes.
Normal upgrades to Spirit Ashes are still done at the Roundtable Hold through Roderika's spirit tuning.
