| Switch to a melee weapon when attacking the snail |
| Use quick-release spells |
It'll be difficult to hit Spirit-Caller Snail using ranged weapons since its invisibility means you can't lock-on to it. You're better off switching to a melee weapon when you see the snail's illumination, it's quite weak and will take heavy damage no matter your weapon stats.
Use spells such as Glintstone Pebble or Swift Glintstone Shard at the summon to slow it down as you look for the snail. These can be fired off very quickly, making them fairly effective.

Looking for the snail while avoiding the summon can be difficult due to their halberd's long reach. Equip a weapon with Ashes of War such as Storm Blade to keep them away even at a distance.
