How to Level Up in Elden Ring
First Summon Melina
You will only be able to level up your stats with the help of Melina. She will appear to the player after reaching the Gatefront Site of Grace.
After meeting Melina, choose Level Up from the menu of any Site of Grace and proceed to select the stats that you want to level up.

Exchange Runes to Level Up
To level up your stats, you'll need to use Runes you've acquired. These Runes are the in-game currency of Elden Ring and are used not just for leveling up but also for purchasing items from merchants. They are obtained by defeating enemies or by using items that gives the player Runes.
Defeat powerful enemies such as bosses, and use items such as Golden Runes in order to gain many runes and level up at a Site of Grace!

Weapons and other equipment in Elden Ring are directly linked to an individual stat. Some can only be equippable after reaching the minimum requirement.
In addition to increasing your attack and defense power, you can increase each stats independently. Which of these stats to invest in are soley dependent on the player and what build you are currently gearing towards!

Leveling Stats are Effective to a Certain Point
The Stat/Attribute Soft Cap is the point where a certain stat when leveled up will start to have diminishing returns. Every attribute in the game has a soft cap and knowing these can greatly assist with your stat distribution.

It is not recommend to level up an attribute any further after its last soft cap.

What is the Maximum Level Cap?
The Maximum Rune Level is 713
In Elden Ring, your Level (also known as Rune Level) tells you how much attribute points you have invested into your character excluding your starting class's stat values. When adding all attributes maxed out at 99, the maximum attainable Rune Level is RL713.
