You can find the Sanguine Noble in Writheblood Ruins under one of the ruins past a fog wall.

When to Fight Sanguine Noble

You can fight the Sanguine Noble as asson as you get to the Altus Plateau and heading to the Writheblood Ruins at the opposite side of the Forest-Spanning Bridge.

Fight at Level 60+

The Sanguine Noble is a fast and nimble boss that has very fast attacks that deal bleed, with just a few hits easily dealing bloodloss.

Level your character to at least Level 60 and increase Vigor to mitigate bloodloss damage and deal as much damage to the boss.

Use Spirit Ashes to Summon Spirits

The Sanguine Noble attacks relentlessly with fast attacks that can easily break your poise and stagger you, but it will take some time to actually attack you at the start of the battle.

This gives you enough time to summon spirit ashes that can distract the noble. Good options for this fight include equally fast summons such as the Rotten Stray or Stormhawk Deenh.

Alternatively, tanky spirit ashes such as Banished Knight Oleg, Lhutel the Headless, and Battlemage Hugues are great options as they can tank through the Noble's attacks and stagger it with their strong moves.

Stagger the Noble with Strong Attacks

The Sanguine Noble's speed and manuverability is offset by its rather low poise. It's easily staggered by jumping or charged attacks, or from normal attacks from colossal weapons and colossal swords.

If using sorceries and incantations, the spells Rock Sling and Catch Flame are great for staggering and interrupting the Noble's attacks.

Use Slash Attacks

The Sanguine Noble is weak against slashing attacks, with particularly fast weapons dealing high damage against it. Katanas such as the Uchigatana and the Nagakiba are great options as they also deal bleed and their moveset is great at catching the Noble when it evades.
