Step-by-Step Guide to Reach the Boss Area from the Start

#	Fog Rift Catacombs Guide
1	First Spike Trap From the Site of Grace, head straight into the first room and turn left. Be careful and bait the spike trap to fall before going into the next room to avoid getting hit.
2	Continue on the path until you reach a staircase going down, there will be some imps and a caster in the area. Be wary going down the stairs as there will be an imp that will shoot a fireball at you. Turn left after the stairs.
3	Second Spike Trap Once you turn left, you'll see a drop into the next room. Before dropping down, bait the spike trap first and then drop after it goes back up again. Turn around after dropping and bait the spike trap again before going across the room to an elevator going down.
4	Head straight into the next room down the stairs and turn left before the first passageway you see to reach another spike trap area.
5	Third Spike Trap Run straight to the first safe spot on the left wall. After the spike trap goes back up, run to the third safe spot by hugging the left wall. The second safe spot has a hole that leads to the sewers. From the third spot, run across the hall after the spike trap goes back up again.
6	Fourth Spike Trap Before heading into the next room from the third spike trap, bait another spike trap then run across to reach an elevator going down.
7	From the elevator, head straight to find the fog that leads you to the boss fight area with the Death Knight.

You can find a Stone-Sheathed Sword Altar in the Fog Rift Catacombs where you can obtain the Stone-Sheathed Sword or use the altar to convert the sword (that you can obtain from the other catacombs) into the Sword of Night.

You can find a Great Ghost Glovewort by going on top of the second spike trap and going into the passage on the left side of the room. Continue on the path until you reach a room guarded by some soldiers and a Black Knight.

Black Knight Commander Andreas can be found by going on top of the first spike trap from the room where you find Great Ghost Glovewort. Head outside the room from there and turn left to bait the first spike trap down. Jump on top of it and head into the passage on the left.
