・Waterfowl dance will still force you to respect all of her moves as it can instantly kill you. ・Has an innate life steal which severely gimps or makes shield-based builds downright unplayable against her. ・Phase 2 complicates her already difficult moveset and adds Scarlet Rot to the mix. |
| 3 |  Rellana |
・Without a decent Scadutree Blessing level, Rellana's combos can downright one or two-shot the player. ・Not only are her attacks fast, but she also incorporates magic into her movesets which deal more damage than her regular attacks. ・Phase 2 adds magic and fire to her normal attacks making her stronger. |
| 4 |  Godskin Duo |
・Godskin Apostle has nasty movesets and can cast a fireball whenever you try to recover your HP with flasks. ・Godskin Noble has several AoE attacks and rolling attacks that can reach you even from afar. ・You need to kill them more than once as they'll respawn until the Godskin Duo's entire health bar disappears. |

・ He has an extremely wide range of attacks with fast recovery that allows Bayle to continuously attack the player. ・Bayle himself is also pretty difficult to hit due to its natural mobility from its attacks. ・Its Phase 2 adds lightning bolts which makes evading its attacks more difficult |

・ Maliketh is extremely mobile ・Sports a very wide range of attacks as well as a bunch of combos that are hard to avoid ・High damage either from melee or from afar. |

・ High damage output despite its attacks being easily telegraphed. ・Calling summons is also a risk due to its wide range still hitting the player when attacking your summons. ・Phase 2 adds new combos to its movesets and also makes the camera difficult to control due to its extreme movements. . |

・Difficult to call summons due to its opening attack. ・Has sudden movements that are difficult to telegraph and dodge. ・Attacks are very hard to dodge due to their swift but wide range of attacks and their follow-up attacks from their boar. |

・Most of its moveset involves moving in and away from the player which makes counter-attacking difficult. ・Phase 2 adds ghost flame which can be dodged by jumping which adds complexity to your methods of evasion ・Physical attacks hit hard especially if you fight it early and with low Scadu levels. |

・Attacks have large AoE ・Sudden attacks which are difficult to see due to their sheer size. ・Has a high HP pool. |

| Number of Challenges | Our biggest factor to the boss tier list is the amount of challenges there are in the battle (i.e. unstoppable attacks, camera issues, delayed attacks) and how difficult they are to handle. |

| How Optimal Each Build Needs to Be | Most bosses can easily be defeated with practically any build. However, there are bosses that require a change in setup due to their sheer difficulty (either having too much HP which makes using status buildup like bleed better or changing talismans to negate their damage output). |
| Damage and HP Pool | While often neglected, the boss' damage output and amount of HP is also considered in the tier list. However, this is measured relative to how early you can also fight them, as bosses like Godrick and Margit do have high HP for the part of the game they appear in. |
| Windows to Heal/Buff | Some bosses are more aggressive than others (particularly the DLC bosses) which forces players to play in a much more defensive state. There are also bosses that are too slow or docile that you can spend your time buffing yourself again mid-fight or just chugging your heals three to four times and not get punished. |
