How to Get to Ancient Ruins of Rauh

Cross the Bridge West of Shadow Keep

The Ancient Ruins of Rauh is located on the northwest section of the map and is only fully accessed by crossing the bridge west of Shadow Keep.

Head west and take the lift down from the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace in the Specimen Storehouse within Shadow Keep. This path eventually leads to the West Rampart Site of Grace and the bridge that takes you to the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

Take the Portal North of Castle Ensis

A portal can be accessed early to reach a specific area in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. This portal requires an Imbued Sword Key and is found west of the Highroad Cross Site of Grace.

The portal takes you to the lower area of the eastern ruins of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. This area is, unfortunately, a dead end and you cannot progress through the rest of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh from here.

You may, however, obtain the Verdigris Discus talisman found past the waterfalls to the north.

You may still access this area without spending an Imbued Sword Key for the portal by taking the stairway path from the Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway Site of Grace, and dropping down to this area from the edge.

The Ancient Ruins of Rauh can be unlocked on the map by getting the Map: Rauh Ruins map fragment.

This map fragment can be obtained near the Temple Town Ruins in the Rauh Base area.

You can reach this area by passing through the tunnel north of Moorth Ruins.

Viaduct Minor Tower	Cross the bridge west of Shadow Keep.
Rauh Ancient Ruins, East	From the Viaduct Minor Tower Grace, navigate the ruins to the west and the lower level leads to this Site of Grace.
Rauh Ancient Ruins, West	Cross the bridge from the Rauh Ancient Ruins, East Grace, then head south after passing the Furnace Golem.
Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway	Take the lift that goes up near the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Grace. Then drop down the ledge to the left. The pillar path will lead to a lift with this site of Grace above.
Church of the Bud, Main Entrance	Pass the western ruins from the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Grace, then take the lift where the Kindreds of Rot are. The stairs in the middle of the rotten room lead to this Site of Grace.
Church of the Bud	Unlocks after defeating the boss in this area.

Scadutree Fragment

You can obtain four Scadutree Fragments in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

These fragments are used to obtain the Shadow Realm Blessing which increases the damage you deal and lessens the damage you take.

Dropped by Hippo

From the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace, head to the left, and you'll see a lift that takes you down. Head straight and look to your left, where you'll be able to see a square hole you can enter. After entering the hole, head straight down the stairs.

Dropped by Pot Enemy

From the Rauh Ancient Ruins (East) Site of Grace, head back north and jump up the second spiritspring you see. The pot-holding enemy that drops this should be right in front of where you land.

Miquella's Cross

Access this region by exiting west out of Shadow Keep until you reach the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace in Rauh Ruins.

From here, progress through the catacombs to the west until you find a hole with a spiritspring you can fall onto with Torrent. The fragment and the Rauh Ancient Ruins (East) Site of Grace should be nearby to the southeast.

From the Rauh Ancient Ruins (West) Site of Grace, press further southwest, up the stairs, and into a large room with pillars; then, the fragment should be on the west wall of the room.

Revered Spirit Ashes

You can obtain three Revered Spirit Ashes in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

These are used to receive the Shadow Realm Blessing and strengthen the Spirit Ashes you summon.

Dropped by Pot Enemy in the East Ruins

Reach the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace from Shadow Keep. Enter the catacombs to the west and kill the enemy holding a pot on its head.

Under the Pavilion

Reach the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace, just south of the Furnace Golem. Head up the stairs and out of the room into an open garden with a gazebo. The Revered Spirit Ash should be on a statue in the gazebo.

Dropped by Pot Enemy in the West Ruins

From the gazebo, head further north to an area with spiders. A lift nearby should take you up a level to an enemy with a pot on its head.

Verdigris Discus

The Verdigris Discus is found in front of an altar in the lower region of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

You can get to this area by either using the portal that requires an Imbued Sword Key near Highroad Cross or by crossing the stairway bridge from the Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway Grace, and dropping down to the ledge to this area.

Fine Crucible Feather Talisman

The Fine Crucible Feather Talisman can be found up the tree branches in the east section of the Rauh Ancient Ruins. From the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace, proceed to the ruins found southwest. Before reaching the first door inside the ruins, make a left and drop down the gaps in the brazier.

Once you've made it down, you'll see a door nearby. Open the door and drop down another floor using the Spirit Spring inside. Continue moving northwest until you see a path leading to the right; there, you'll see the branches with the talisman.

Talisman of All the Crucibles

The Talisman of All Crucibles can be obtained from a chest hidden in the Rauh Ancient Ruins. From the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace, enter the ruins found west and go up the second floor using the elevator found on the left side.

Once you're on the second floor, turn left and drop down the pillars below. Traverse on top of the pillars until you see a tiny square opening to your left. Enter the opening, and you will see the chest containing the talisman.

Mottled Necklace +2

The Mottled Necklace +2 can be obtained in a chest found in an area only reachable using a Spirit Spring. The first step in acquiring this talisman is to break the Spirit Spring seal on the second floor of the ruins west of Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace. Take the elevator found on the left side of the ruins, and then proceed to the upper right corner of the second area to see the seal.

After breaking the seal, you'd want to jump on the spirit spring so you can use it again to lift yourself to the platform of stairs located on the right. Once you're on that platform, make your way to the top, and you will see the chest containing the talisman.

Devonia's Hammer is dropped by the Crucible Knight found northwest of the Rauh Ancient Ruins, East Site of Grace.

The Stone-Sheathed Sword can be obtained by crossing an invisible bridge north of the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace.

Suppose you've already obtained the Stone-Sheathed Sword from the Fog Rift Catacombs or the Ruins of Unte. In that case, you can upgrade it into the Sword of Light in this location instead.

The Aspects of the Crucible: Bloom is below the tower in the western section of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

To get there, head north of the Church of the Bud Main Entrance, down the stairs and elevator, then exit northeast. At the edge of a broken road with pillars is an invisible path you can cross to get close and safely near the structure. The item will be inside while being guarded by Miranda Sprouts.

The Spider Scorpion Ashes can be found on a corpse in the Ruah Ancient Ruins. From the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace, follow the path on the right until you reach the ruins. Make your way down until you reach an area with three lootable items guarded by a Spider Scorpion.

Greater Potentate's Cookbook 9

The Greater Potentate's Cookbook 9 is found on the outside wall north of the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace.

From the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Grace, head into the ruins and take the north exit. Enter the room with the Kindred of Rot and continue north. Exit the ruins from the east exit, and the cookbook will be on the wall.

This cookbook allows the crafting of Hefty Rot Pots.

Antiquity Scholar's Cookbook 2

The Antiquity Scholar's Cookbook 2 allows the crafting of Spritestones, which can be found behind an illusory wall in the scorpion chamber inside the Rauh Ancient Ruins, East.

Hornsent

As the last part of Hornsent's questline, he invades you in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

Hornsent's invasion will engage as you step into the stairs leading to the Church of the Bud Entrance Site of Grace.
