Where to Find Kindred of Rot

The Kindreds of Rot can be found at the end of the Seethewater Cave. You can reach this area by starting from the Seethewater River Site of Grace and just following along the nearby path.

When to Fight Kindred of Rot

This boss fight is made difficult mainly due to having to fight two Kindreds of Rot at the same time. However, both of them take a lot of damage and have limited defensive capabilities. You can fight them anytime upon reaching Altus Plateau.

Fight at the center of the boss area

The boss area's edges are surrounded by poison. An incorrect roll can get you caught in it and cause the Status Effect to start building up. Be aware of your surroundings and stay at the center of the arena.

Make sure you have Neutralizing Boluses ready to alleviate the build-up, especially since some of the bosses' attacks deal poison damage.

Lure the Kindreds of Rot away from each other

The strength of these bosses lies in how they can overwhelm you if you try fighting them simultaneously. Lure one of them to an opposite side of the boss area and just focus on it, you'll be able to defeat it easily since it gets staggered if you constantly attack it.

You can also summon a Spirit Ash to make it an even fight, as you let your summon take on the other Kindred of Rot.

Exploit the weaknesses of the Kindreds of Rot

The Kindreds of Rot take increased damage when you use Fire, Bleed, or Frost. The Bleed Status Effect in particular builds up fairly quickly, allowing you to take out big chunks of their health at a time.

If you don't the aforementioned weapon types, you can also use Fire Grease, Freezing Grease, and Blood Grease.
