There are two Fallingstar Beasts in the open world that appear as optional bosses: one is in Caelid at the end of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel, and another is in Fingerstone Hill, which is located in one of the DLC's regions, Scaduview.

Each Beast has their own unique drops and rewards upon defeat.

DLC Only: Unlock Scaduview to Reach Fingerstone Hill

The Fallingstar Beast in Fingerstone Hill can only be accessed if you have the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and gained access to the Land of Shadow. You must first reach the site of grace of Shadow Keep, Back Gate, which is only accessible by going through the East Gate. Follow the video above for a detailed route on reaching this site of grace.

From the site of grace, enter the room on your right (with a summoning pool outside) and do the O Mother gesture in front of the statue to reveal a passage to Scaduview. The O Mother gesture can be found underneath a tree north of Bonny Village.

Use Spirit Ashes to Summon Spirits

The Fallingstar Beast attacks relentlessly and wields powerful gravity attacks that can deal a lot of damage. The rather small size of the boss room makes this even more difficult as the boss can quickly traverse the entire room and deal AOE damage with its attacks. It's best to summon tanky spirits as soon as you start the fight to get the attention away from you.

Good spirit ashes for this fight include Banished Knight Oleg and Banished Knight Engvall, as well as Lhutel the Headless. All three are very tanky and will attack the Fallingstar Beast relentlessly to keep its attention on them.

Take Advantage of its Elemental Weaknesses

The Fallingstar Beast's resistance to weapon damage is offset by its susceptibility to all elemental damage, but it's best to use fast spells as the boss can easily interrupt your cast with its charging attacks.

For sorceries, the basic Glinstone Pebble is a great spell to use against this fight as it's a very fast spell with great tracking. Catch Flame is a good choice for incantations although this requires getting close to the boss as it's a very short-ranged spell.
